Steps for Handling Conflict

  • Acknowledge & Assess the Situation

Review reports or complaints thoroughly. Gather context by checking related posts, comments, or private messages. If necessary, privately message involved parties for clarification.

  • Mediate with a Constructive Approach

If both parties are open to discussion, facilitate a resolution privately. Encourage active listening, mutual understanding, and compromise. If a misunderstanding is evident, help clarify and de-escalate tensions.

  • Enforce Community Guidelines

Assess the severity of the violation and take appropriate action.

  • Document & Communicate

Keep records of major conflicts, including messages, reports, and actions taken. Communicate with involved parties about decisions made and why. If necessary, escalate unresolved or highly sensitive matters to the Governing Board for further review.
